The four examples render the successor chain 1→2, 2→3, 3→4, 4→5, demonstrating that adding the simplex unit “ONE” advances X to its next value while preserving clause structure. Codes follow Kristiansen’s signary; glyph labels (“ONE”, “TWO”, …) are semantic glosses for expository clarity and do not assume phonetic values.
