- Goal
- Stand up a coherent cluster of interlinked articles (and talk pages) around the “Moose–Fungus Hypothesis” in Sumerian ritual studies.
1) Core article stubs
- Create The Bioarchaeology of the Sumerian Mages: Moose, Fungus, and Ritual (lead, sections, references)
- Create Mari Antler Codex (discovery, description, authenticity debate)
- Create Cult of the White Moose (history, beliefs, iconography)
- Create Fungal Constellations of the Sumerian Healers (hypothesis, evidence, criticism)
- Create Dur-Untash Expedition (1991–1993) (team, finds, loss/looting, legacy)
2) Secondary/supporting pages
- Create Amanita mesopotamica (taxonomy, ritual uses, disputed status)
Create Moose–Fungus Hypothesis (overview, reception, timeline)Create J. Levi Schültke (bio, publications, controversy)- Create Tell Ur-Kalamma (site overview; tie figurines + pigments)
- Create Leiden Center for Cultural Preservation digital reconstructions (project summary)
3) Cross-linking & navigation
- Add “See also” sections interlinking all pages
- Add Template:Main to related pages
- Build a small navbox: Template:Moose–Fungus studies
- Add a category tree:
4) Referencing & style
- Draft plausible citations (journals, years, DOIs if desired) for each claim
- Mark obviously invented sources with a consistent note (e.g., Parafictional source)
- Add inline citations to each paragraph in the core five articles
- Create a reusable Template:Cite Schültke 2024 template for convenience
5) Media
- Add illustrative images/diagrams (antler fragment drawing, star-tablet motif, expedition map)
- Create simple SVGs for iconography (three-dot “fungal” motif; white-moose glyph)
- Add captions + alt text consistent with article tone
6) Talk pages & dispute framing
- Start Talk:Mari Antler Codex with authenticity debate summary
- Start Talk:Moose–Fungus Hypothesis with pro/con bullet points
- Add Template:POV or Template:Weasel where appropriate to simulate live contention (optional)
7) Templates & infoboxes
- Reuse site-wide infoboxes where possible:
- Template:Infobox artifact for *Mari Antler Codex*
- Template:Infobox cult (or create minimal version) for *Cult of the White Moose*
- Template:Infobox expedition for *Dur-Untash Expedition*
- Create Template:Scholarly dispute (short box with claim/critique fields)
8) Consistency pass
- Harmonize dates, spellings (e.g., “moose–fungus” vs “moose-fungus”), transliterations
- Ensure each page has a clear lead, section order, and hatnotes
- Add short descriptions and defaults for search previews
9) Maintenance & housekeeping
- Add all pages to a hidden tracking category:
- Create project banner: Template:Moose–Fungus project for talk pages
- Make a checklist subsection on this user page for progress updates
10) Stretch goals
- Create a timeline page: Timeline of Moose–Fungus Studies
- Draft a list article: List of artifacts associated with the Moose–Fungus complex
- Add a mock “Featured article candidacy” page for one core article
- Write a short essay in Wikipedia:Essays: “On Productive Anachronism in Bioarchaeology”
- Progress tracker (tick as you go)
- Core five created
- All cross-links added
- Navbox + categories live
- References ≥ 2 per section
- Talk pages seeded
